Germany-headquartered solar mounting solutions company Schletter Group has announced a new senior leadership hire, appointing Eduardo Vidalon Aguilar as the new managing director for the Spanish market. 

Schletter said Aguilar comes to the group with more than 25 years of international management experience in the energy industry. 

Aguilar was till now the sales director for Spain and Portugal at solar inverter manufacturer SMA Ibérica Tecnología Solar, where he worked for over 5 years. 

For more than 17 years of his professional life, he worked with the technology multinational ABB Group, working as the Continental Europe Sales Director T&D in his last position with the company. He helped expand the company’s presence in the international sales channels and helped exceed strategic targets, expand market share in the Balkans and also explore potential European markets. 

Aguilar’s appointment follows that of VP Sales for North America, Sarah Sinderman in April 2023, who joined Schletter Group from another inverter manufacturer Fronius (see Schletter Hires For North America Business).
