InnoEnergy Launches Local Energy Platform

• InnoEnergy has introduced Power2U as a new energy operation system that facilitates integration of new sustainable energy technology as solar, EV chargers and batteries
• It is aimed to contribute to stability, resilience and robustness of existing energy grids
• InnoEnergy is partnering with five Swedish energy companies Öresundskraft, Jämtkraft, Tekniska Verken, Umeå Energi and Jönköping Energito roll out the venture first in Sweden; the companies will invest 60 million SEK ($6.86 million)

InnoEnergy has launched a new venture to design and operate local energy systems. For Power2U, it has partnered with five Swedish energy companies- Öresundskraft, Jämtkraft, Tekniska Verken, Umeå Energi and Jönköping Energi.

InnoEnergy defines Power2U as a new energy operator to enable all types of buildings to participate in the digital energy transformation. It is aimed to facilitate integration of new sustainable energy technology while contributing to the stability, resilience and robustness of existing energy grids. It links control units on the internet of things for the benefit of property owners and large energy users.

InnoEnergy calls Power2U as the 'future-proof energy management platform' that will allow end-users as well as energy companies to benefit from the integration of technologies as solar, EV chargers and batteries. All partners together will invest 60 million SEK ($6.86 million).

Along with the five partner companies, InnoEnergy will collaborate to roll out the solution into the market."We expect rapid growth of local storage capacity in the form of electric cars and stationary batteries. Our joint new model is an important puzzle piece in the new energy landscape, and we are aiming for a rapid market launch starting in Sweden. We already have more international inquiries than we can handle,"said Kenneth Johansson, CEO of InnoEnergy Scandinavia.
