FuturaSun unveiled an impressive lineup of innovative solar solutions during Intersolar 2023. Among them are the new generation of high-efficiency colored modules, Silk® Plus Colour, the latest Silk Nova module series, the FuturaSun Optor inverter, and the groundbreaking Silk Plus Carbon Neutral module, which the company claims is the world’s first zero CO2 emission module.

Silk Plus Carbon Neutral was FuturaSun’s star of the range. The company claims that following a rigorous Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) analysis, all emissions associated with producing this product have been offset through the use of 100% Gold Standard certified carbon credits.

Silk Plus Colour: FuturaSun’s new generation of colored modules combines increased efficiency with enhanced architectural integration, thanks to a range of captivating color shades. The standard colors available in the Silk Plus Colour series include terracotta orange, tile red, and silver gray, with the option for customizing both the glass and frame color upon request. By harnessing the power of M10 cells and continuous research and development, this new generation of modules achieves remarkable efficiency gains (not the absolute efficiency numbers) of 37% on average in red (Silk Plus Tile Red), 33% in orange (Silk Plus Terracotta Orange), and 18% in gray (Silk Plus Silver Grey), over the previous-generation products. The modules are currently listed on the website with efficiencies of 17.92%, 18.2% and 18.44%, respectively. The distinctive feature of these modules is that they blend with the color of the roofs and façades, adding stunning aesthetics to the buildings, while ensuring clean energy production.

Silk Nova: Aligned with FuturaSun’s future expansion plans, the Silk Nova module series represents a preview of modules that will feature cells manufactured in FuturaSun’s upcoming 10 GW cell factory in China. These n-type modules are offered in a wide power range, from 410 W to 580 W, suitable for various applications. In addition to these specialty modules, FuturaSun also promotes IBC ZEBRA and Velvet HJT photovoltaic modules, which are also part of the company’s comprehensive product portfolio.
