Italian Power Electronic Equipment Maker Bringing New Products

Fimer To Unveil Latest PV Inverter With Storage & A 3-Phase Hybrid Inverter At Intersolar Europe 2024

  • Fimer to display its new residential series hybrid inverters with up to 10 kW capacity with PowerX series modular battery storage system at Intersolar Europe 2024
  • It will also showcase its prototype PVS-75/125 series 3-phase hybrid inverter that’s suitable for the C&I market
  • All the residential hybrid models will be commercially available from mid-2024, according to Fimer
  • The company also came up with a specific string inverter series for revamping older power plants by replacing older central inverters

Leading Italian power electronic equipment maker Fimer has confirmed its attendance at the upcoming Intersolar Europe 2024 with its latest ‘power platform products. This platform will feature its new 1-phase PowerUNO and 3-phase PowerTRIO hybrid inverter series coupled with a modular battery storage system called PowerX for the residential segment, in addition to a prototype 3-phase hybrid PV inverter, PVS-75/125 suitable for the C&I market.

Alongside its latest hybrid inverter series, Fimer is coming to the show with its PVR-65/75/80-TL string inverter specifically designed for revamping PV power plants. It is equipped with more than 10-year-old central inverters.

Hybrid inverter

Fimer’s latest 1-phase PowerUNO hybrid inverter series offers a power range of 2 kW to 6 kW with a backup capacity of up to 6 kWh, whereas the 3-phase PowerTRIO series with a maximum 10 kWh backup capacity boasts a power range of 4 kW to 10 kW suitable for varied residential loads.

Both models have 16 A MPPT channels that ensure maximum compatibility with the majority of solar modules to maximize the use of energy from solar panels, it explains. The company’s transition to the single output channel from 2 output terminals, intended for both normal operating conditions and backup situations, simplifies installations.

Fimer emphasizes that both the latest hybrid inverters, coupled with the PowerX modular battery system, facilitate the expansion of storage capacity at any time. All the latest hybrid inverters and PowerX battery systems will be commercially available during H2/2024, confirms the company. Eyeing the potential C&I market, the company is going to showcase its PVS-75/125 series prototype model with up to 12 MPPT channels, covering power ranges of 75 kW, 100 kW, and 125 kW.

At the event, Fimer will also showcase its brand new 3-phase string inverter series, PVS-10/15 and PVS-20/33, with power ranging from 10 kW to 15 kW and 20 kW to 33 kW — compatible with the C&I market.

Revamping & after-sales service

With an eye on the promising older power plant revamping market with its older central inverter models, Fimer has come up with the PVR-65/75/80-TL string inverters. These string inverters’ output voltage range of 270 Vac to 320 Vac ensures the replacement of the existing central inverter without any replacement of transformers, or re-stringing of solar panels. It will contribute to optimized installation time and financial resources. This PVR-65/75/80-TL series string inverter is commercially available for pre-order.

Fimer is guaranteeing quick assistance with after-sales support and maintenance services for the PVI-10/12.5-TL-OUTD and TRIO-20/27.6-TL-OUTD models. Additionally, it will commit itself to the availability of power modules ranging from 55 kW to 67 kW for Central Plus PVI-55/330 and PVI-134/400 central inverters, as well as 350 kW and 390 kW for the ULTRA series of central inverters.

All the new Fimer models and representatives will be at Intersolar Hall 4/ Booth 340 from June 19 to 21, 2024.
