Day 2 of TaiyangNews Intersolar Review Conference will take place Wednesday, May 25 from 9.30-12.00 CEST; GCL-SI to buy PV glass for RMB 2 billion;  Nenghui Technology to raise about RMB 348 million; Growatt launches new flagship inverter product; Geely Silicon Valley polysilicon project was officially put into production.

Day 2 of TaiyangNews Conference on May 25: Tomorrow will be #Day2 of TaiyangNews Intersolar Munich Review Virtual Conference and the focus will be on rooftop solutions. The event will kick off with an overview on the new International Technology Roadmap for Photovoltaic by ITRPV Co-Chair Dr Markus Fischer. This will be followed by presentations from Tier 1 module producers’ representatives talking about their latest module developments: Adele Zhao from Trina Solar Europe, Roberto Murgioni from Jinko Solar, Baohua He from Chint Astronergy, Nickey Zhu from Jolywood, and Franklin Miao from SPIC. GCL-SI & Rainbow sign RMB 2 billion PV glass order: Chinese integrated solar module manufacturer GCL System Integration Technology Co. Ltd. (GCL-SI) announced that it has signed a strategic agreement with solar photovoltaic glass business IRICO Group New Energy Company. GCL-SI plans to purchase photovoltaic glass for about RMB 2 billion ($0.30 billion) from May 2022 to April 2024. Recently GCL Technology had been ranked among the world’s top 2 largest polysilicon manufacturers by Bernreuter Research (see World’s Top 3 Largest Polysilicon Makers Are Chinese)

Nenghui Technology raises RMB 348 million: One-stop service provider for photovoltaic power generation design, system integration and investment Nenghui Technology announced plans to raise about RMB 348 million by issuing convertible corporate bonds. The fund will be used to invest in distributed photovoltaic power station construction projects and supplementary working capital.

Growatt launches high current & high power industrial and commercial inverter: Residential inverter supplier Growatt announced that it has launched a flagship new product for industry and commercial applications – MAX 125KTL3-X2 LV. This inverter, like its previous MAX 125KTL3-X LV inverter, comes with high conversion efficiency, high power density, high single-unit power, high safety and comprehensive intelligence. But at the same time, the new product optimizes the design of MPPT channels and further increases the maximum string current to the industry’s highest level of 22.5A, perfectly adapting to 500W+/600W+ high-current and high-power modules. Geely polysilicon project put into production: The Geely Silicon Valley polysilicon project was officially put into production in Gucheng County. The project is being built by Geely Technology Group, a subsidiary of Fortune 500 company Geely, and will be completed in three phases. The first phase is of 2,000 tons, the second of 10,000 tons, and the third phase of 40,000 tons.
