Zhongli signs 500 MW distributed PV project with Daguan: Solar module supplier Zhongli Group said that the company along with the People’s Government of Daguan County in Yunnan Province will be building a county-wide distributed photovoltaic project in Daguan. The focus will be on the construction of clean energy and cloud platform data centers such as rooftops, industry, transportation, agriculture, aquaculture, and tourism. It is estimated that the entire county’s rooftop project can be built with a capacity of about 100 MW or more, and it can further invest in the construction of a distributed photovoltaic power station with a capacity of more than 400 MW. Guidong to build 210 MW fishing-PV project: Power generation and supply company Guidong Electric Power stated that its wholly-owned subsidiary Qiaogong Energy Company plans to invest RMB 1.04 billion ($0.16 billion) to build three surface photovoltaic power generation projects with a capacity of 210 MW in Laibin City. This will be a step towards enabling the company to actively explore and develop new energy business.

Hengdian DMEGC 4GW cell project put into production: Vertically integrated solar module manufacturer from China, Hengdian Group DMEGC Magnetics Co., Ltd. (DMEGC) made an announcement on the commissioning of its 4 GW high-efficiency large-size monocrystalline cell project. It was in February this year DMEGC had shared plans to expand its solar cell production capacity by an additional 4 GW (see Hengdian Group To Build 4 GW Solar Cell Production Capacity). The project investment was about RMB 1.2 million ($0.19 million). At present, the project production line has been completed and is being gradually put into production.

Trina Solar’s Gao Lei at High Efficiency Solar Technologies Conference: TaiyangNews is happy to announce that Gao Lei, Senior Product Manager from Trina Solar will take part in its Virtual Conference on High Efficiency Solar Technologies.
