TrinaTracker launches Trina Smart Cloud: Tracker manufacturer TrinaTracker launches its patented solution Trina Smart Cloud, which is a unique intelligent monitoring and control tracking solution that leads to intelligent operation and maintenance (O&M) of PV stations. Trina Smart Cloud is said to lower the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) by minimising power loss, improving system performance and reducing O&M costs. The application includes user-friendly software, which can be easily integrated into other platforms and a network architecture that can be configured and adapted to the characteristics of each project.

JYT to sell 600 mn silicon wafers: Chinese solar wafer and equipment maker Beijing Jingyuntong Technology Co., Ltd.,(JYT Corporation) announced its wholly-owned subsidiary Wuxi JYT Corporation have entered into a silicon wafer procurement contracts with Guangdong Aiko Solar Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Aiko Solar Technology Co., Ltd., and Tianjin Aiko Solar Technology Co., Ltd. As per the contract, the three Aiko companies plan to purchase 600 million monocrystalline silicon wafers from Wuxi JYT Corporation Technology from January 2022 to December 2022 for an estimated amount of RMB 3.6 billion ($0.57 billion) (tax included).

JA Solar to sell equity in 3 PV power plants: Solar PV Panel Manufacturer JA Solar announced that the company intends to sell 100% equity in Beitun Haitianda (with a grid-connected photovoltaic power station capacity of 20 MW); 100% equity in Buxaer Haitianda (with a grid-connected photovoltaic power station capacity of 30MW); and 100% equity of Xinjiang Jiuzhou Fangyuan (with a grid-connected photovoltaic power station of 60MW) to China Nuclear Power for RMB 29 million ($4.56 million), RMB 45 million ($7.07 million), and RMB 215 million ($33.78 million) respectively. JA Solar said that through the sale of subsidized power plant assets and the use of recovered funds to develop and construct cheap power plants, it will make asset operations more efficient.
