Trina’s Vertex PV module applied to 1 MW PVrooftop project in India: A project located on the rooftop of a factory in Coimbatore, India, with a project size of 1 MW has used Chinese solar module manufacturer Trina Solar’s Vertex DE18M 510W+ distributed modules. The project is now officially connected to the grid. Trina Solar’s Vertex distributed modules have surpassed 4 GW in global orders, and the 210 mm Vertex modules for commercial, industrial and residential rooftop scenarios have been favored by overseas distributors and customers. In March, Trina launched its 670W Vertex Solar Module Series (see Trina Solar Launches 670W Vertex Solar Module Series).
Three Gorges, Qidong & Linyang sign cooperation agreement: Electricity meter company Linyang Energy announced that the company, Chinese state-owned power company Three Gorges, and the People’s Government of Qidong City in Jiangsu Province have signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Now, all the three parties will use Qidong City as the center and promote the development of distributed clean energy, BIPV, energy storage systems, charging stations, integrated energy, micro grids, data centers, charging piles and the like. The plan is to invest no less than 2 GW distributed energy and supporting energy storage projects, and jointly establish a platform company in Qidong City with investments, construction and operation in the field of new energy as its main business.
