Zhongli to sell 130 MW PV power station: In a company announcement, solar module supplier Zhongli Group said that three of its wholly-owned subsidiaries have signed an equity transfer agreement with China Power Investment. The subsidiaries involved, which are solar power plant SPVs, are Changshu Honghui Photovoltaic Power Station Development Co Ltd; Changshu Hongfa Photovoltaic Power Station Development Co., Ltd.; and Qinghai Zhongli New Energy Investment Development Co., Ltd. At the same time, a similar equity transfer agreement also took place between another subsidiary of Zhongli, Changshu Chengli Photovoltaic Power Station Development Co., Ltd., and China Nuclear Power Shandong Energy Co., Ltd. Through these transactions, the solar module supplier has transferred 130 MW PV power plants, which aligns with the company's overall strategic planning and actual business needs.

Chint Solar partners with Wuerhe government for energy development: With a view to optimize the energy generation structure of Wuerhe District and to promote green energy, Chinese module manufacturer Chint Solar has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the People's Government of Wuerhe in Karamay City, Xinjiang. The company will work closely with Wuerhe administration to change the traditional energy structure, which is planned to lead to comprehensive energy development.  AJ Hu from Chint Solar spoke at the TaiyangNews Virtual Conference on Reliable PV Module Design on how a Tier-1 module supplier manufactures high-quality products (see Astronergy Chint Presentation – AJ Hu)

Yingli delivers PV modules to Oman plant: Yingli Solar said it has completed the delivery of bifacial high-efficiency products for the Ibri-2 project of solar power station in Oman. The total capacity of the project is 575 MW and it uses N-type bifacial modules, which with its low temperature coefficient work well with Oman's tropical desert climate. Saudi ACWA Power is constructing the project, while East China Survey and Design Institute of Power China Construction Group has the EPC contract.

Sineng invests RMB 50 mn in 10 GW Ningxia inverter production line: Sineng Electric announced that the company is partnering with Ningxia Tongxin County People's Government and CNNC Rich Energy Corporation for the construction of 10 GW inverter production line. The project is divided into 2 phases and towards the first phase, the company has agreed to invest RMB 50 million ($7.73 million) and will install 2 inverter and energy storage bidirectional converter production lines. The second phase of the project will see an investment of RMB 150 million ($23.20 million), which will focus on the expansion of the production scale.

2 Linyang PV projects gird connected: Linyang Energy announced that the company's wholly-owned subsidiaries – Suixi Yonghui New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Hanshan Taoyang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. – have successfully built the Suixi Liuqiao Town Phase II Yonghui 50MW Agricultural Light. The complementary PV power generation project and the 100 MW photovoltaic composite project in Taochang Town, Hanshan County (49 MW Phase I) have also been connected to the grid and are fully operational. It is estimated that the annual power generation income will be about RMB 50 million ($7.7 million)

Trina completes 35 MW Vietnam solar power plant construction: Chinese solar module manufacturer Trina Solar has completed the construction of 35 MW Trung Son Solar Power Plant in Vietnam, the company said. This is the company's second utility scale solar plant in Vietnam, following its 42 MW Phong Phu project. In the current project, Trina Solar has served as a turn-key solution provider, and have developed, designed, constructed and connected the solar plant to the 110 kV grid of the Vietnamese Electricity Power Company EVN on time. Now, the company is in charge of the plant's operation and maintenance and secures its safety and operational energy output. Trung Son solar plant has a DC capacity of 35 MW with an estimated power generation of 67,368 MWh per year, which is equivalent to what 35,700 average Vietnamese household consumes in a year. Recently, Trina also finished building its first solar power plant in Korea. (see China PV News Snippets: Trina, LONGi, JA)
