Huasun partners with SunSum on solar-storage and grid-integrated projects

Heterojunction (HJT) solar PV manufacturer Huasun Energy has entered into a strategic partnership with SunSum Technology, a Chinese provider of concentrated solar power (CSP) solutions. Under the agreement, the 2 companies aim to advance the ‘multi-tower single turbine’ demonstration project. This project will serve as a benchmark integrated solar-storage and grid-integrated demonstration base in Northwest China. Huasun will supply high-efficiency solar modules based on HJT technology for the project, while SunSum Technology, as a specialist in tower-type CSP, will provide a one-stop solution covering project development, investment, construction, and operation. The partners aim to integrate CSP, wind power, and photovoltaic technologies to create a landmark new energy demonstration project.

Abhishek Kaushal, Director South Asia at Huasun Energy, will be participating in the 1st TaiyangNews Solar Technology Conference India 2025 – How to Lift PV Manufacturing to the Next Level.

This Conference, to be held on April 10 & 11, 2025, brings together industry experts to address key challenges and opportunities in solar cell and module production, covering important topics such as local upstream manufacturing, technology advancements for cost-effective production, and equipment innovations for high-quality output.
