Jietai Solar (JTPV) has produced its first industrialized TOPCon-perovskite tandem cell at its manufacturing base in Chuzhou, Anhui Province. The tandem cell, measuring 210 × 105 mm, features a TOPCon structure at the bottom and a perovskite thin-film layer on top.
The company says the perovskite layer process was independently developed, tuned, and fully integrated by its in-house R&D team. It stated that this milestone marks its transition from laboratory-level tandem cell development to industrial-scale verification, demonstrating its capability to independently conduct R&D and small-scale production of tandem processes.
In July, JTPV announced that its manufacturing bases in Chuzhou and Huai'an have successfully obtained both ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System and SA8000:2014 Social Accountability certifications (see China Solar PV News Snippets).
Releasing its financial results for Q3 2025, solar cell and module equipment manufacturer Autowell reported a continued decline in performance. Its revenues of RMB 1.29 billion declined 48.65% year-on-year (YoY), while its adjusted net profit fell 87.22% to RMB 54.90 million.
For the first 9 months of 2025, Autowell achieved total revenues of RMB 4.67 billion, representing a decline of 32.67% YoY, while adjusted net profit declined 71.21% to RMB 343.46 million.
As of September 30, 2025, the company’s orders on hand (unaudited) totaled RMB 9.94 billion, a 26% decline compared with the same period in 2024.
In August, Autowell reported a 23.57% YoY decline in revenues in H1 2025 (see China Solar PV News Snippets).
Solar cell and module manufacturer EGING PV reported Q3 2025 revenues of RMB 374.66 million, down 27.96% YoY. Its adjusted net loss for the period totaled RMB 61.26 million, improving from the RMB 101.00 million loss in the same period last year.
For 9M 2025, EGING PV’s total revenue declined 42.58% YoY to RMB 1.56 billion, while its adjusted net loss narrowed to RMB 211.60 million, more than halving from the RMB 574.86 million loss reported in the same period of 2024.
EGING PV stated that its shareholding is now highly dispersed, following a series of equity auctions in September. The largest shareholder now holds only 4.62% of the company’s shares, resulting in the absence of both a controlling shareholder and an actual controller.
PV solder ribbon manufacturer YOURBEST (YourBuddy) reported a slight YoY revenue decline of 6.59% in Q3 2025, totaling RMB 741.81 million. However, its adjusted net profit jumped 62.05% to RMB 17.68 million during the same period.
For the first 3 quarters of 2025, the company’s total revenues stood at RMB 2.26 billion, down 8.75% YoY, while adjusted net profit increased 29.34% to RMB 50.41 million.
Solar inverter and wind converter manufacturer Hopewind and China Green Development Investment Group (CGDG) subsidiary Shanghai Zhonglv New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., have jointly released a white paper titled Grid-Forming PV Inverters Based on Self-Synchronization Technology. The 2 companies have collaborated previously to develop the ‘world’s 1st’ commercially deployed grid-forming PV inverter, installed at the ‘world’s 1st’ grid-forming PV power plant, the Xinjiang Ili Main Power Source PV Project.
The white paper, based on this product and its project experience, summarizes their expertise in new power system construction, core PV technology breakthroughs, and large-scale energy project implementation. It provides a systematic overview of the core value, innovation pathways, diverse application scenarios, and representative cases of grid-forming inverter technology.
