JinkoSolar Launches Sunny 365 PV-Storage Solution for SMEs

PV and energy storage supplier JinkoSolar has launched its ‘Sunny 365’ smart PV-storage solution for small and medium-sized manufacturers in five sectors: electronics, home appliances, home textiles and apparel, food processing, and hardware products.

The solution combines Tiger Neo 3.0 high-efficiency PV modules with a 30-year power warranty and the SunGiga G2 commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage system (ESS), including a typical 125 kW/261 kWh configuration with liquid cooling and multi-level fire protection. It also incorporates JinkoSolar’s in-house battery management system (BMS) and energy management system (EMS) technologies.

The solution is designed to reduce electricity costs through solar self-consumption, peak-valley energy shifting, and demand management. With the required grid/off-grid switching and backup configurations, it can also provide emergency power for critical loads during outages. JinkoSolar provides lifecycle services covering solution design, system delivery, and O&M.

JinkoSolar has previously introduced Sunny 365 solutions for other applications, including retail and supermarkets, artificial intelligence data centers (AIDC), manufacturing, and transportation.

Recently, JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. announced that it plans to rename itself Jinko Holdings Limited (see China Solar PV News Snippets).

Yanhe Technology Begins In-Orbit Validation of Flexible Perovskite Module

PV technology company Yanhe Technology (formerly Yanhe Solar) has launched its self-developed flexible perovskite PV module into orbit aboard the Tianyi-52 satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on September 17. The mission begins long-term performance monitoring and validation of the module’s adaptability to the space environment. The company said it is China’s first module-level engineering in-orbit validation of flexible perovskite PV technology under full operating conditions in the commercial space sector.

The module will be evaluated under extreme space conditions, including high vacuum, temperature cycling from -100°C to +100°C, high-energy particle irradiation, and atomic oxygen erosion. The company will monitor its electrical output characteristics, interconnection reliability, and mechanical stability in orbit, with key data transmitted in real time through the satellite’s telemetry system.

Yanhe Technology also plans to conduct in-orbit validation of other technology pathways later this year, including flexible silicon, perovskite-HJT and perovskite-CIGS tandem cells, module arrays and complete solar array wings. Last month, Yanhe Solar finalized the engineering prototype of its proprietary ‘Nebula’ flexible roll-up space solar wings (see China Solar PV News Snippets).

Guangxi Anlan Deploys PV Installation Robots in Gansu

Guangxi Anlan Technology, a subsidiary of China Aneng Group First Engineering Bureau, and its partners have deployed the first 4 PV installation robots at a utility-scale solar project in Wuwei, Gansu province, where construction has begun.

Developed for the challenging terrain and outdoor conditions of desert, Gobi, and other arid-land PV projects, the robots can independently perform tasks including PV module transport and standardized installation. They are designed to support continuous construction, reduce reliance on labor-intensive manual installation, and improve construction efficiency and standardization at large-scale PV projects.

Huansheng Photovoltaic, HY Solar Win 641 MW TOPCon Tender

TCL Zhonghuan (TCL TZE) subsidiary Huansheng Photovoltaic and HY Solar have won two procurement tender packages for 640.97 MWp of n-type TOPCon bifacial dual-glass modules. These will be used for an 800 MW PV project within Gansu’s Tengger Desert-Hexi New Energy Base.

Launched by Gansu Minqin Shagehuang Green Energy Co., Ltd., the tender was divided into two packages. Huansheng Photovoltaic secured the 320.56 MWp first package at RMB 0.695/W, while HY Solar won the 320.41 MWp second package at RMB 0.692/W.
