Celloraa Energy names former Vikram Solar executive Anil Bhadauria as CEO
The Gujarat-based start-up is developing a 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell facility, using German know-how
Celloraa plans to focus on solar cell manufacturing for now, while considering further backward integration
Celloraa Energy, the solar cell manufacturing startup from India’s Gujarat, has appointed Anil Bhadauria as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Bhadauria has held senior roles at brands such as Waaree Group and ACME Group in the solar PV space. Before joining Celloraa, Bhadauria served as EVP, Manufacturing-Group Operations, at Vikram Solar. Under his leadership, Celloraa Energy says the company will strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and operational readiness.
Incorporated in February 2026, Celloraa Energy is developing a 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility in India with plans to expand it to 2.4 GW. Germany’s centrotherm is supplying the PECVD equipment, and a contractual agreement has been signed for equipment supply with RENA Technologies (see Indian TOPCon Cell Manufacturing Backed By European Equipment).
It has also roped in Germany-based solar technology research and development firm ISC Konstanz as part of its technology partnerships.
Earlier this year, Celloraa raised INR 160 crore by selling a 50% stake to StarlinePS Enterprises, a precious stones company, to fund its manufacturing plans (see India Solar PV News Snippets).
At Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) 2026, Bhadauria spoke with TaiyangNews about the company’s strategy. Celloraa plans to stick to solar cell manufacturing for now rather than enter the crowded module manufacturing space. It may also consider further backward integration as part of its strategy, said Bhadauria (see Live Blog : October 22-24, 2026: Renewable Energy India Expo 2026).
