Hive Power, a Switzerland-based developer of charging and export solutions for future power grids, is a proud winner of the Power2Drive AWARD at The smarter E Europe 2023 conference. Its award winning Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, FLEXO Smart Charge, is a cloud-based platform that uses AI to optimize and efficiently manage electric vehicle charging.

The platform collects real-time data from EVs and the grid, and uses this data to determine the optimal charging schedule for each EV. It can help to reduce EV charging costs by optimizing the charging schedule for each EV. This can be done by charging EVs during off-peak hours when electricity prices are lower. Not only the costs, FLEXO Smart Charge can also help increase the utilization of renewable energy by charging EVs during times when there is excess renewable energy generation. This, in turn, can help reduce the amount of renewable energy that is curtailed.

FLEXO Smart Charge can also be used to provide Vehicle2Grid services, which allow EVs to discharge their batteries back into the grid during peak demand times. The platform is designed to be scalable and can be used to manage fleets of EVs or individual vehicles. The user-friendly platform, offered as a white-label app, allows EV owners to track their charging habits and manage their charging schedules.
