Key Takeaways
  • Voltronic Power showcased its residential inverters for the Indian market at The Battery Show 2026

  • Axpert VM II Premium+ offers a single-phase power output range of 1.5 to 12 kW and a rated maximum conversion efficiency of 93%

  • The Infini V4 WP Elite HMI hybrid inverter has a rated output of 6.6 to 24 kW and a higher efficiency of >97%

PV inverter, EV charger, and UPS maker Voltronic Power highlighted its residential hybrid inverters (single-phase), Axpert VM II Premium+ and Infini V4 WP Elite HMI, at The Battery Show India 2026.

The former offers a rated full-load power range of 1.5 kW to 12 kW, including 3, 4.2, 6.2, 8, and 10 kW at 230 V. In comparison, the Elite HMI includes four models with rated power outputs of 6.6, 8.6, 10.6, and 12 kW.

Both inverters support PV and battery inputs via dedicated MPPT channels and ports, respectively.

The 1.5 to 6.2 kW models of the Premier+ series feature a single MPPT, with a maximum PV input power range of 2 to 6.5 kW and a maximum input current range of 13 to 18 A. Models above 6.2 kW are equipped with two MPPTs, each rated for a PV array and PV input current range of 12 to 15 kW and 22 × 2 A to 27 × 2 A, respectively. In terms of MPPT starting voltage, the 1.5, 3, and 4.2 kW models start from 30 V DC, while the 6.2 kW to 12 kW models start from 90 V DC. Rated battery port capacities also differ by model: the 1.5 kW supports up to 12 V, while the 3 and 4.2 kW connect to 24 V, and the rest is rated for up to 48 V DC. The company specifies a maximum solar charge current of 100 A (1.5, 3, & 6.2 kW), 120 A (4.2 kW), 150 A (8 kW), 180 A (10 kW), and 200 A (12 kW). The corresponding maximum AC charge current range is slightly lower: 80 A (1.5 & 3 kW), 100 A (4.2 & 6.2 kW), 120 A (8 kW), 150 A (10 kW), and 180 A (12 kW). This inverter series has a maximum conversion efficiency of 93%.

In comparison, the Elite HMI features two MPPTs for the 6.6 to 10.6 kW models, while the 24 kW model has an additional MPPT. They have a maximum MPPT voltage range of 120 to 450 V and a current range of 21 to 28 A. All models support a 48 V DC battery and a higher, common maximum solar and AC charging current range of 135 to 220 A. They also feature a higher maximum conversion efficiency of >97%. For capacity expansion, up to nine units can be connected in parallel.
