Key Takeaways
  • BLUETTI showcased its Balco 500 balcony energy system at IFA 2026

  • The system uses AI-based energy management and can coordinate solar feed-in with demand in 3-phase homes

  • BLUETTI also presented the 5 kW Pioneer 5000 and mini portable power station

Energy storage solutions provider BLUETTI showcased its Balco 500 balcony solar and home storage system at IFA 2026 in Berlin, Germany.

Designed for European homes, the Balco 500 combines balcony solar, energy storage, and household energy management. Its BlueBot-powered system uses information such as electricity prices, weather, and household consumption to develop personalized energy plans.

Paired with a compatible smart meter, the system can detect electricity demand on each phase of a 3-phase connection and adjust solar feed-in to match real-time consumption. According to BLUETTI, this can reduce the amount of electricity drawn from the grid.

Another feature, called EnergyFlex, connects compatible portable power stations to a balcony energy system through a transfer hub. This allows the units to support household energy use while still serving as portable power stations.

BLUETTI also exhibited its Pioneer 5000 E-generator for construction sites and other professional applications. It delivers 5 kW of continuous output and up to 18 kW of surge power. Its 5.12 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery can be expanded to 35 kWh.

For outdoor use, the system features IP65-rated protection against water and dust. It is designed to operate between -20°C and 55°C and at noise levels of up to 50 dB. AC charging takes the battery from 5% to 80% in as little as 60 minutes, says BLUETTI.

The company also presented its Elite mini portable power station series, comprising the Elite 30 mini, Elite 100 mini and Elite 200 mini. The products feature multiple output ports, UPS backup, and app-based controls. They are designed for camping, emergencies, and recreational vehicles.
