Key Takeaways
  • ERL showcased its 1P single-axis solar tracker at Intersolar Europe 2026

  • The independent-row system accommodates 60 to 90 modules per row and offers a tracking range of ±55°

  • The company offers a 10-year structural warranty and a 5-year warranty for the tracker’s mechanical and control components

Turkish solar mounting system supplier ERL Solar Mounting Systems showcased its single-axis solar tracker at Intersolar Europe 2026. Designed with a one-in-portrait (1P) module configuration, the independent-row system supports all framed modules and accommodates 60 to 90 modules per row.

According to the company, the tracker features its steel swing-bearing system, which supports the rotating torque tube. The system also incorporates an offset drive rotation axis and symmetrically positioned dampers to improve tracker stability. The tracker uses a slew drive powered by a 24 V DC brushless motor. It offers a tracking range of ±55° and ground clearance of 0.3-0.8 m. The system supports 1,000 V and 1,500 V DC configurations.

For wind protection, the system uses symmetrical dampers and moves to a stow position when wind speeds exceed a predefined threshold. According to ERL, the tracker is designed for wind speeds of up to 130 km/h (10-minute mean) and 3-second gusts of up to 190 km/h.

The tracker uses an astronomical algorithm to follow the sun, and incorporates a backtracking function to reduce inter-row shading. It supports LoRa wireless communication as well as Modbus RS-485 wired communication. A web-based platform enables monitoring and control of the system, while a night-stow function moves the tracker to a predefined position outside operating hours.

ERL offers driven-pile, pre-drilled, and concrete foundation options. The tracker comes with a 10-year structural warranty and a 5-year warranty covering the mechanical and control components.
