Speaking at the recent TaiyangNews Reliable PV Module Design Virtual Conference 2022, Stephen Gong, Senior Product Manager at Cybrid, one of the world’s leading backsheet manufacturers, said that he sees non-fluorine backsheet solutions in the future to be majorly transparent with back reflection. For HJT, Gong recommended using a light conversion type as EPE or EVA, while for TOPCon it needs to be POE+POE or EPE+EVA for glass-glass, and for glass-backsheet, it should be POE+EVA or POE+white EVA.
