Runergy introduced its 210R size back contact cell-based PV module, rated at 670 W and 24.8% efficiency during the show
It also displayed a 470 W power and up to 23.5% efficient n-type cell-based PV module, applicable for the DG segment
Both models exhibit similar hail-resistance properties
Runergy, a vertically integrated PV manufacturing company, participated in the Intersolar Europe 2025 exhibition with its latest collection of PV modules.
While the datasheets are unavailable, the images of the showcased modules, published on the company’s official LinkedIn page, offer some basic information.
Runergy’s HY-WH132C11 series PV module, on display, is based on the 210R size back contact (BC) cell platform. Built with 132 half-cut cells, it offers a power output of up to 670 W and an efficiency of up to 24.8%. Available in dimensions of 2,382 × 1,134 × 30 mm, the module is laminated with a front glass and a rear backsheet. According to the company, it has a hail resistance of up to 55 mm diameter with speeds of up to 33 m/s. As the company’s website currently features only n-type cell-based modules, this BC module appears to be the company’s first foray into the BC domain.
For the distributed generation (DG) segment, the company promoted the HY-WH96N11 series monofacial single-glass model. Equipped with 96 pieces of 210R size n-type half-cut cells, this module can deliver up to 470 W output power and a maximum efficiency of 23.5%. Sized at 1,762 × 1,134 × 30 mm, it is laminated with a tempered front glass and a rear backsheet. Without disclosing the weight, the company claims that the single glass design makes it up to 15% lighter than its double-glass counterpart. In addition, it features a similar hail resistance capability as the above BC module.
While both the aforementioned products are offered with a performance warranty for up to 30 years, the traditional module carries a maximum product warranty of 15 years.
