BOS Package Tender For Nokh PV Project

NTPC Limited has invited bids from interested companies to provide balance of system (BOS) package services for the development of its 735 MW Nokh Solar Power Project in the desert state of Rajasthan in India.

The BOS services need to be provided for 3 blocks of 245 MW capacity each to be located in Jaisalmer district. In June 2021, the utility had launched a tender for interested offtakers for the facility (see NTPC Seeking Offtakers For 735 MW Nokh Solar Project).

Broad scope of work comprises providing design, engineering, manufacturing supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation, testing and commissioning of solar PV projects at Nokh, while deploying tracker technology for module mounting structure.

It will require for the successful bidder to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services for the plant with electrical equipment, consumables and spare parts, and enabling SCADA system for remote monitoring and control of inverters, among other tasks.

Launched on October 28, 2021, the tender is open to receiving both techno-commercial and price bids by December 1, 2021, according to the NTPC.
