Ghana's Ministry of Energy is seeking bidders for 35 solar mini-grids and solar PV net metering for island and lakeside communities in the country.
Broad scope of work for interested bidders is the design, supply and installation of these projects across various regions, distributed as follows:
The government plans to use the proceeds from the grant financing received from the African Development Bank (AfDB), Climate Investment Fund and the Swiss Government, towards payments under the contracts for this tender.
The call was issued on September 26, 2023 and the last date for bid submission is November 23, 2023. Details are available on AfDB's website.
