Jolywood offers 2 fast-curing non-EVA films, JW-POE01 and JW-POE09, launched in 2022
Both offer at least 6 MPa tensile strength, over 450% elongation, and low directional shrinkage
The films block 90% or more of UV in the 380 to 1,100 nanometer range and provide over 100 N/cm of adhesion to glass
Jolywood contributes to the non-EVA segment of the TaiyangNews Backsheets and Encapsulation Market Survey 2024/25 with 2 polyolefin-based encapsulant films. The products, JW-POE01 and JW-POE09, were introduced in 2022 and are fast-curing POE films with thicknesses ranging from 376 to 564 µm and widths between 800 and 1,400 mm. They feature a clear color and embossed surface finish, with tensile strengths of at least 6 MPa in both directions and elongation rates of over 450%.
They feature low shrinkage rates of ≤ 3% in the MD direction and ≤ 1.5% in the TD direction. Both products exhibit strong adhesive strengths to glass of > 100 N/cm and > 60 N/cm to the backsheet. With a UV cut-off of at least 90% across a wavelength range of 1,100 to 380 nm, they provide effective protection for solar cells. The films' refractive index falls within the range of 280 to 380 nm. The EVA films are packaged in rolls with vacuum packing and cartons, have a shelf life of 3 months, and should be stored at temperatures between 0 and 35°C with a relative humidity of less than 60% (see Jolywood EVA And EPE Encapsulants Combine UV Blocking With High Transparency).
