Horad wins Huasun Energy’s RMB 200 million HJT bid; Anhui Royal and Jetion join hands for TOPCon cells; DAS Solar to buy PV glass from Luoyang; DZS New Energy facility produces first module.

Horad wins Huasun HJT bid: Chinese high-tech enterprise Horad said through a WeChat communication said that it has received the winning-bid notice from Chinese HJT panel manufacturer Huasun Energy. This is for the 2.5 GW high-efficiency silicon heterojunction solar module facility. The bid value is pegged at RMB 200 million ($27.8 million). This is the second time that Horad and Huasun Energy are partnering for HJT solar modules. Last year, Huazhu had also bought Horad equipment for its 5 GW factory (see China PV News Snippets). Anhui Royal inks TOPCon cell sales deal: Photovoltaic power generation products manufacturer and seller, Jetion Solar, and photovoltaic equipment manufacturer, Anhui Royal Green Energy Technology, have come together for a long-term partnership, local media reports said. With this, Jetion plans to buy about 6 GW TOPCon cells from Anhui for from 2022 to 2025. The annual purchase every year is likely to be no less than 1 GW.

DAS Solar and Luoyang Glass sign RMB 5 billion PV glass order: Chinese solar PV module and cell supplier DAS Solar said via WeChat that it has got into a partnership with float glass manufacturer Luoyang Glass. With this, Luoyang Glass will be selling about 200 million square meters of ultra-thin photovoltaic glass to DAS Solar. The transaction will begin from the date of the contract till September 2024, and the estimated value of the contract is said to be about RMB 5 billion ($0.70 billion).

First module produced at DZS New Energy facility:  DZS Solar said that its subsidiary DZS New Energy’s Yixing facility, currently in Phase III, has successfully produced its first module. This facility has a 3 GW production capacity for G12 high-efficiency shingled modules. In 2020, DZS Solar had secured a TUV Rheinland certificate for its G12 shingled module (see China PV News Snippets)
