  • The price of 182-size cells stood at RMB 1.33/W ($0.18/W)
  • The price of 166-size cells stood at RMB 1.31/W ($0.18/W)

However, compared to last month the thickness of the cells has been reduced. Here are the details:

  • The thickness of 210 and 182 cells is now 155μm
  • The thickness of 166 cells is now 160μm
  • The thickness of 210 and 182 cells is now 150μm
  • The thickness of 166 cells remains still at 160μm like last month

JA Solar to invest RMB 1.5 billion for integrated capacity expansion: Solar PV panel manufacturer JA Solar announced that it plans t to expand its integrated production capacity. And towards that, it will invest about RMB 1.5 billion ($0.21 billion) and the focus will be on two facilities – the 5 GW Hefei module facility and the 5 GW module renovation of Xingtai No. 1 workshop. Earlier this month, JA Solar & YALONG HYDRO had partnered for hydro-solar PV project (see China PV News Snippets)
