Sungrow partners with Krannich to expand distribution channels: Global leading PV inverter supplier Sungrow is all set to meet a wide range of applications in distributed generation markets, with a comprehensive product portfolio covering product verticals within commercial and industrial, residential, hybrid inverters and cells. Towards this, Sungrow announced that German wholesaler Krannich Solar will be its new partner in distributing its broad product portfolio in Europe, further facilitating the economic decarbonization in more markets. Zhongli subsidiary signs PV modules supply contract: In an announcement, solar module supplier Zhongli Group said that its wholly-owned subsidiary Talesun Technologies (Thailand) has signed a PV module supply contract with Engiz Enerji Sanayi Ve Ticaret. A.S. of Turkey (CENGIZ ) and China Machinery Industry International (CMI). As per the contract, CMI will sell 122.90 MW PV modules to CENGIZ for a total amount of RMB 211.96 million ($33.1 million).

Huawei establishes RMB 3bn digital energy company: As per a Photovoltaic Network News report, Chinese multinational technology company Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd has established its digital arm – Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. It holds 100% of the shares of the new company. As per public information, the company's registered capital is RMB 3 billion ($0.47 billion). The scope of Huawei Digital Energy is diverse and includes online energy metering technology R&D; online energy monitoring technology R&D; solar power technology services; photovoltaic equipment and component manufacturing, among others.

CGN & Xiangyang build agricultural PV composite project: Xiangyang, Hubei Province and China General Nuclear Power Corporation have signed an agreement to jointly build a clean energy construction demonstration zone project, a local news report said. As per the agreement, CGN New Energy will invest RMB 5 billion ($0.78 billion) to build a new agricultural PV composite project with an installed capacity of about 1 GW in Xiangzhou district.
