Malaysian utility Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has entered power purchase agreements (PPA) with the winners of its large scale solar (LSS) bidding round 4, concluded in March 2021 by the country’s energy commission Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).

TNB of Malaysia had recently signed PPA’s for around 270 MW of large scale solar PV capacity that it awarded through a competitive round conducted in Q1/2017. Now it signed another PPA for a 30 MW JV project of Scatec from Norway.
