Acting on US solar module manufacturer Auxin Solar’s petition filed in February 2022, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) says it will initiate an investigation into companies circumventing antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) by importin.

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has announced successful grid synchronization of a 45 MW hydro floating solar hybrid project on Sirindhorn Dam on July 30, 2021. Commercial operations are due to be launched in October 2021.

The floating solar plant with the lowest capacity on the list shared by EGAT with Bloomberg has 24 MW, while the largest will have 325 MW. All the plants are envisioned to be complete between 2020 and 2037.
