Key takeaways:
Axial Structural Solutions has introduced the Titan single-axis tracker, featuring a long-row design with tracker lengths of up to 160 m
The tracker incorporates multi-slew drive and multi-point locking mechanisms aimed at maintaining structural stability across long tracker rows
Titan includes 3D backtracking and adaptive control algorithms designed to optimize tracker positioning and reduce inter-row shading throughout the year
When it comes to maximizing energy output from a photovoltaic (PV) system, a key contributor on the balance of systems (BOS) side is a tracker.
Axial Structural Solutions, a Spain-based company that offers fixed structural systems and trackers for PV installations, has announced a new product, Titan, set for official launch at the Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich.
It is a single-axis tracker developed around long-row architecture supporting tracker lengths up to 160 m. This feature can be an advantage for projects where land availability is not a problem, and can be used for an extended row configuration, especially in desert and open-area environments.
Antonio Robredo, Chief Sales Officer said, “Utility-scale solar is entering a phase where scalability, construction efficiency, and plant optimization are becoming just as important as energy yield. Titan was designed specifically around those changing project dynamics.”
The product datasheet is not available at the time of this article's publication. However, according to the company’s press release, this tracker uses a multi-slew drive system and multi-point locking ability for structural stability when needed. It also employs an algorithm to adapt to sky conditions throughout the year and features 3D backtracking to enhance energy yield and reduce inter-row shading losses. The tracker is designed to operate in environments where the temperature ranges from -20°C to +50°C, and wind resistance up to 70 km/h.
Axial participated in the TaiyangNews Market Survey on Solar Trackers 2026, represented by its 1V / 1V Twin, 2V TT, and AgriTracker models, all featuring 3D backtracking capabilities.
The company operates in Europe and Latin America and has a strong presence in the 2 major European tracker markets, Italy and Spain, with about 36% market share in Italy.
TaiyangNews will cover a detailed product article on Axial’s Titan after its launch at the Intersolar Europe 2026, as well as in the upcoming report on Solar Modules & Mounting Systems Product Trends 2026.
