  • Solaria has introduced a high power solar module in its PowerXT solar panel series
  • It will have 430W power output and come with a power conversion efficiency of 20.4%

American solar module producer Solaria Corporation has launched its new solar panel in the PowerXT series with 430 W power output. The PowerXT 430R-PL solar panel is aimed at the residential solar segment and will be available from March 2022 onward. It says the 400+ series comes with a peak power from 400W to 430W.

The new Solaria panel has 20.4% efficiency and uses its patented ‘shingled’ cell design (ribbon-less, solder free, cell-to cell connections) with 2.8 mm glass used. It has a dimension of 1,076 mm x 1,957 mm x 35mm, and weighs 47 lbs. The company offers a 25-year comprehensive warranty for the product that it says is optimized for next generation module level electronics (MLPE), including Enphase IQ7A and SolarEdge P505.

Solaria’s CEO Tony Alvarez said the the new panel is easier to handle, transport and deploy while being high on aesthetics, performance and reliability. It will be available through North American solar and electrical distributors.

In September 2019, the company raised $40 million in growth funding to more than double its production for premium residential PV panels, PowerXT (see Solaria Raises $40 Million To Expand Production).
