- MVV Energie AG subsidiary MVV Enamic acquires 100% shares of AVANTAG Energy S.à r.l and its sister company Philipp Rass Energy GmbH

German energy supplier MVV Energie AG announced that its subsidiary MVV Enamic has completely acquired AVANTAG Energy S.à r.l and its sister company Philipp Rass Energy GmbH.
AVANTAG Energy is into roof-top photovoltaic systems with a nominal output from 100 kilowatts peak (kWp) up to the largest hall roof areas in the megawatts peak range. As MVV acquires AVANTAG, the company expands its PV range in this segment, thus enabling its customers to produce climate-friendly electricity using PV rooftop systems.
Commenting on this development, CEO of MVV Energie AG said, “With the acquisition of AVANTAG Energy, we will be able to offer our business customers even more green solutions for their energy transition in the future.”
Meanwhile, Managing Director of AVANTAG Energy Dr. Ulrich Rass said, “The PV market for business customers is a growth market. The acquisition by the MVV Group as a partner with a nationwide focus, which is also on a clear course towards climate neutrality, offers us excellent potential for the further expansion of our business activities.”
Both parties have not disclosed the acquisition amount yet.
