1 Day left for TaiyangNews Virtual Conference: The 3-Day TaiyangNews Virtual Conference on High Efficiency Solar Technologies – TOPCon, HJT and Beyond, Today & Tomorrow, will kickstart tomorrow – 23 November and will span across till 25 November 2022. The focus of the Conference will be on commercial high-efficiency cell technologies – from Passivated Contacts (TopCon) to Heterojunction (HJT), and also the next-gen cell technologies. Global leaders from research, production equipment and materials supply, as well as cell/module manufacturing and market analysis will take part in the Conference and look at the topic from different angles. Risen to invest RMB 2.7 billion for 10 GW n-type cell facility: Chinese solar panel maker Risen Energy announced that it plans to construct a 10 GW high-efficiency solar cell facility in Chuzhou City. The total investment is expected to be about RMB 2.7 billion ($0.38 billion). Risen will also be taking part in the TaiyangNews Virtual Conference on High Efficiency Solar Technologies. Suntech partners with Jiangsu Xinlinfei: Chinese solar cell and module manufacturer Suntech said via WeChat that it has partnered with Jiangsu Xinlinfei Energy Technology. Both the companies will work in the field of solar cells and will focus on increasing production capacity. They have also agreed to ink a purchase deal for solar monocrystalline PERC/TOPCon cells from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 2023. The estimated purchase amount is said to be about RMB 2.5 billion ($0.35 billion).

Yibin Yingfa 20 GW TOPCon facility makes progress: Electricity supplier Yibin Yingfa Deyao Technology said in a WeChat communication that the first-phase trial production and second-phase launch ceremony of its 20 GW high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cell facility was held in Gaojie Park. The facility had begun construction in June. The company added that it will continue to invest in the third and fourth phases to build a 50 GW high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cell production facility.
