Longyuan partners with Xiejiaji & Huazhou districts and Trina: Listed company Longyuan Construction Group has signed strategic cooperation agreements with the government of Xiejiaji and Huazhou districts, along with Chinese module manufacturer Trina Solar, towards the investment and development of photovoltaic new energy in the whole district. This partnership between Longyuan and the governments is considered a ‘milestone’ for the company to move from traditional infrastructure to new infrastructure and realize integrated development.

CHINT to sell 493.1 MW household photovoltaic assets: Smart energy solutions provider CHINT announced that its holding subsidiary, Chint Aneng, will transfer its assets of 493.1 MW household PV power generation system in Shandong, Hebei and Shanxi to Chongqing Yutai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The transaction value will be around RMB 1.9 billion ($0.30 billion). In August this year, Chint Aneng had signed an agreement with the governments of Qiyang City and Linqing City to promote the pilot development of distributed rooftop PV, with a total installed capacity of about 980 MW (see China PV News Snippets: Risen, GCL, Zhejiang, Chint). 

Zhongli signs RMB 300 mn PV module sales contract: Zhongli Group announced that its solar subsidiary Talesun Solar has signed 7 PV module sales contracts with different companies including State Grid Zhejiang Comprehensive Energy Service, and Huangshi Jinneng Photovoltaic. The total sales price is about RMB 300 million ($46.9 million). Earlier this year, Zhongli Group had announced that Talesun Solar will add 5 GW of solar cell and 5 GW solar module capacity to its manufacturing portfolio (see Zhongli Group To Invest In 10 GW Solar Production)

EDRI & Shirui to invest in 280 MW distributed PV project: In an announcement, Taiji Industry announced that its subsidiary Eleventh Design & Research Institute Scientific and Technological Engineering Corporation Limited (EDRI) has signed an agreement with technology development firm Shirui Energy. Both parties will jointly develop and construct 160 MW distributed PV projects in Panzhihua and 120 MW distributed PV projects in Dezhou. The worth of the project will be about RMB 1,008 million ($157.9 million) and the development and construction period will last for a year.

Gold Stone & Golden Solar to establish National Engineering Research Center: Material science company Golden Solar said that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Xinfeng 2D (Fujian) Material Technology Company Limited, and the strategic partner of the Group, Gold Stone (Fujian) Energy Company Limited, will be together establishing the National Engineering Research Center for High-Efficiency Solar Cell Equipment and Technology. This will not only be an engineering research center in the photovoltaic field, but also a national platform for China to deploy emission reduction for carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
