108 MW Poland module order for Talesun Solar: Talesun Solar will be shipping its solar PV modules to Alledo Parts in Poland with a combined capacity of 108 MW. The sales agreement between the Chinese module supplier and Polish solar PV products distributor Alledo Parts entails 440 W modules to be deployed for a 70 MW solar PV facility and 38 MW to be used for various other installations. Talesun’s 159,090 high-efficiency 72 pcs modules will be used for the 70 MW solar park. The Chinese module maker says it is seeking more business opportunities in Poland. In April 2020, Talesun Solar said it was constructing a 5 GW high efficiency monocrystalline solar module fab in China aligned with its aim to have 10 GW of combined annual PV module capacity.

China Energy building 35.7 MW PV project in Egypt: China Energy Construction has commissioned 8 solar power projects in Egypt along with Gezhouba International Engineering Corporation. The company says on a cumulative basis the entire project adds up to 35.7 MW capacity with 4 rooftop solar PV projects and 4 ground mounted facilities now connected to the grid.

Solargiga Energy’s H1/2020 revenues up: According to Caihua News Agency, Solargiga Energy managed to increase its total annual revenues in H1/2020 to around RMB 2.612 billion, at least 41.4% more than it did a year back in H1/2019. Of this, its manufacturing business earned it about RMB 2.603 billion, rising 41.2% YoY while other income of RMB 8.2 billion went up by 148.5%. The company’s overseas shipments went up 78.7% to 2.86 GW of solar silicon ingots, wafers, cells and modules.
