Leading integrated solar manufacturer JA Solar has launched JA YaoTai, its new balcony PV brand, through its smart energy division, JA Smart Energy, offering professional residential solar solutions. The product line supports multiple installation methods, including wall-mounted, railing-mounted, and doorway-mounted systems, and features all-in-one packaging for plug-and-play operation. A single system can reach an installed capacity of up to 2,000 W.
The JA YaoTai series includes 3 models: ESK-400, ESK-800, and ESK-2000, representing system capacities of 400 W, 800 W, and 2,000 W, respectively.
On the solar module side, JA Solar recently announced the first shipment of its DeepBlue 5.0 n-type TOPCon modules from its fully automated production base in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province (see China Solar PV News Snippets).
Solar cell and module manufacturer DMEGC Solar plans to upgrade part of its TOPCon cell production lines at its Yibin, Sichuan facility. According to the company’s Environmental Impact Report submitted to the local Ecology and Environment Bureau, the plant will maintain the core TOPCon process, while adding new steps such as localized laser treatment and edge passivation. Adjustments will also be made to some screen-printing and wet-cleaning materials.
The upgrade includes a cell size adjustment from 182 × 182 mm ±0.25 to 182 × 210 mm ±0.25. Once completed, the plant’s annual 6 GW 182mm cell capacity will be expanded to 8.5 GW of 210R (182 × 210 mm) cells.
Earlier this month, DMEGC Solar forecasted strong earnings growth of up to 50% for the first 3 quarters of 2025 (see China Solar PV News Snippets).
Polysilicon producer Daqo Energy has reported revenues of RMB 3.24 billion ($450.8 million) for the first nine months of 2025, down 46.00% year-over-year (YoY). The company posted a net loss (excluding non-recurring items) of RMB 1.09 billion ($152.5 million), which narrowed compared with the same period last year.
According to its Q3 financial results, both sales volume and prices declined during the period. Daqo Energy sold 88,540 tons of polysilicon at an average price of RMB 36.13/kg ($5.04/kg), compared with 139,170 tons at RMB 42.96/kg ($5.99/kg) in 2024. Despite a drop in selling prices, production costs increased, reaching RMB 50.75/kg ($7.09/kg), up 8.3% year on year.
The company expects Q4 production of 39,500-42,500 tons, bringing 2025 annual output to an estimated 121,000-124,000 tons. For more coverage on Daqo's Q3 results, see Daqo New Energy Improves Q3 2025 Revenues; Narrows Net Loss.
In August, Daqo reported that its Q2 2025 revenue fell to $75.2 million from $123.9 million in Q1 due to lower sales (see Daqo Records Quarterly Operating & Net Losses In Q2 2025).
Sineng Electric, an inverter and energy storage manufacturer, reported revenues of RMB 1.38 billion ($191.9 million) for the first 9 months of 2025, an increase of 20.74% YoY. However, its net profits excluding non-recurring items fell 25.19% to RMB 106.78 million ($14.84 million).
While the management did not specify reasons for the profit decline, the company had reported 13.42% and 23.31% growth in revenue and net profit, respectively, for H1 2025 (see China Solar PV News Snippets).
