Autowell wins RMB 140 mn PV monocrystalline furnace order: Automation equipment manufacturer Autowell Technology said that its holding subsidiary has won the bid for a 1,600 mono-crystal furnace procurement project of Yu Tai New Energy, a Sino-foreign joint-venture technology innovation enterprise. The project amount is about RMB 140 million ($21.90 million). Meanwhile, 2 months back too Autowell had won a bid for 5.2 GW JinkoSolar construction project (see China PV News Snippets: GCL Energy, China FV, Autowell)

Shanghai whole street distributed PV list announced: The Shanghai Municipal Development and Reform Commission has announced the 2021 list of pilot projects for the development of rooftop distributed PV in Shanghai. The list includes 21 streets with a total installed capacity of 541.01 MW. In another development few days ago, construction engineering company Runjian had announced that it has signed a’ whole-county’ rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation project agreement with Yongfu County People’s Government of Guilin City (see China PV News Snippets)

HeBang Biology to enter monocrystalline silicon wafer production: Photovoltaic glass and module products provider HeBang Biology said in an announcement said that its holding subsidiary Wujun Light Energy intends to jointly invest with Tianjin Haoding New Energy and other partnerships to establish Anhui Fuxing Crystal Technology Co. With an investment of RMB 3 billion ($0.47 billion) and an initial registered capital of RMB 455 million ($71.17 million), the joint venture company will focus on production of silicon wafers for photovoltaic power generation.

State Grid Jilin to get 1.56 GW new energy target: Power grid operator State Grid Jilin Province Electric Power said that it has acquired new projects in the fields of wind power, photovoltaic, solar, thermal and energy storage, totaling to 1,560 MW. The projects being planned are:

  • 200 MW of wind power, 100 MW of photovoltaic and 50 MW of solar thermal in Baicheng City, Jilin Province
  • 150 MW of agricultural photovoltaic project in Nanning Yongning District, Baiji Xinping Phase I
  • 150 MW of agricultural photovoltaic project in Phase II; 50 MW of photovoltaic project in Cuihuangkou, Tianjin, and
  • 100 MW of agricultural photovoltaic power generation project in Xishui, Hubei,

Zhongli & Huadian sign agreement for PV power plant development: Solar module company Zhongli Group released that it intends to jointly cooperate with national power producer China Huadian Group Company Limited Ningxia Branch in the development of PV power plant projects of more than 1 GW in scale in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Last month, Zhongli Group, partner company of module maker Talesun, had signed an agreement with the People’s Government of Minquan County Henan Province, and Guoneng Minquan Thermal Power for a ‘county-wide’ distributed photovoltaic and ground power plant project (see China PV News Snippets: Longyuan, Zhongli, SPIC, Dongguan)
