JinkoSolar products wins TüV Rheinland Quality Award; Huasun to buy 10 GW high-efficiency silicon HJT production line equipment; Construction begins for Haidong’s rooftop distributed PV project.

JinkoSolar N-type products win TÜV Rheinland award: Module supplier JinkoSolar announced that its N-type products have ranked first in the single-sided group outdoor power generation competition at the TüV Rheinland Quality Wins China Photovoltaic Festival held in Hefei. The outdoor power generation competition modules are randomly selected from 1,000 mass-produced modules. After that, they are installed by Rheinland at its Cologne demonstration base in Germany. The focus of Quality Wins China award is to establish quality benchmarks and maintain a standardized product quality. Huasun Energy ink 10 GW equipment procurement deal: Chinese HJT solar panel manufacturer Huasun Energy said in an announcement that it has got into an equipment purchase contract with different partners including Suzhou Maxwell Technologies, Ideal Energy (Shanghai) Sunflower Thin Film Equipment, and Jiangsu Qiweixing Equipment Technology. As per the contract, Huasun will buy about 10 GW of high-efficiency silicon heterojunction solar cell production line equipment from these companies, and use them for the production and operation of Huasheng Xuancheng Phase III, Phase IV, Dali Phase I, and Wuxi Phase I Bifacial Microcrystalline Heterojunction smart factory.

Construction begins for Haidong’s large rooftop distributed PV project: Qinghai Province official website said that the groundbreaking ceremony of its first rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation project (Phase I) was held in Haidong City. With an investment of RMB 1 billion ($0.14 billion), the project will have a total installed capacity of 200 MW. The plan is to install 20 MW in the first phase with an investment of RMB 100 million ($14.3 million). Once the project is completed, the production capacity of local clean energy of the city is bound to enhance.
