Gsolar Power ships large-area perovskite simulators: Developer and promoter of technology for PV energy industry, Gsolar Power Co. Ltd., in a WeChat communication said that it has shipped several large-area perovskite steady-state simulators. The company has developed multi-channel modular steady-state IV test solution based on LED light sources, which can test perovskite products of different sizes (300mmx300mm to 1800mm x 2800mm). This is the first time that a large-area perovskite module steady-state simulator has been launched in China, the company added.
Zhonghuan Holdings DW smart factory put into operation: The parent company of leading wafer maker Zhonghuan, Zhonghuan Holdings Group, stated over WeChat that its DW Smart Factory (Phase III) has been put into operation. The total production capacity of Zhonghuan Holdings Group G12 photovoltaic silicon wafers will now exceed 100 GW.
NEA says new PV installed capacity from Jan-Oct at 58 GW: Releasing the national power industry statistics from January to October 2022, the National Energy Administration (NEA) said that as of the end of October, China’s cumulative installed power generation capacity was about 2.50 billion kW, a year-on-year increase of 8.3%. Among this, the installed capacity of solar power generation was about 360 million kW, which is a year-on-year increase of 29.2%. The newly installed photovoltaic capacity from January to October was 58.24 GW, which is more than newly install capacity in entire 2021. The newly added photovoltaic capacity specific to October was 5.64 GW.
