Energy Sector Claims Largest Share Of North Macedonia’s €8.2 Billion Intervention Investment Plan Through 2027; Solar Figures Prominently Including Project With Up To 350 MW Capacity

The Government of North Macedonia will invest €8.2 billion ($10 billion) on some prominent sectors in the country, including energy, as part of its Intervention Investment Plan (2021-2027) to support the implementation of projects of ‘highest interest’ for the citizens.

North Macedonia Economy Ministry Selects 21 MW Solar PV Capacity For Private Land Under International Auction Inching Closer To 200 MW Installed Capacity Target

The North Macedonian Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi said along with auctioned solar power capacity of 56 MW through 2 tenders, 16 MW of already installed capacity and 130 MW of other PV projects planned, the government will be able to fulfill its promise of having an installed solar capacity of 200 MW.
