- Ecoppia’s first ever 400 MW ‘hybrid’ project with Azure Power will have multiple robotic solutions for fixed tilt and single axis trackers
- The robotics deployment features Ecoppia’s full product suit
- The project is scheduled to start in 2022
Israeli robotic solar panel cleaning solutions company Ecoppia announced the signing of its first ever ‘hybrid’ project of 400 MW with India’s Azure Power.
This project combines two types of installations – fixed tilt and Single Axis Trackers (SAT) – along with challenging terrains and varied structures. The robotics feature Ecoppia’s full product suit. The robotics deployment is likely to begin in the first half of 2022.
Its latest product addition, H4 combines its safety capabilities alongside effective, swift, and smart cleaning, and is designed to cater to the growing needs of site developers. Using safe microfibers and controlled airflow, the H4 is able to channel dust and dirt particles downwards without accumulating them by simply moving horizontally while cleaning vertically, emphasizes Eccopia.
The project is part of Ecoppia’s framework agreement with Azure, emphasizing Ecoppia’s ability to supply future needs of client’s expanding operation.
Earlier this February, Ecoppia bagged an order for its technology in India, for a 150 MW plant in Anantapuram, Andhra Pradesh (see India PV News Snippets). In early January 2022, Ecoppia announced that its active portfolio has reached 3 GW with over 30 large-scale projects on 4 continents.
