The Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) has received bids amounting to a total of 637.78 MW for the country’s first joint solar PV and wind power tender with 600 MW capacity (see Greece Launches 600 MW RE Tender).
RAE has not specified how much interest both solar and wind power technologies have received out of 637.78 MW.
The 637.78 MW capacity has been proposed to be built in the form of 8 projects. Ceiling tariffs for the tender are capped at €64.72 ($72.87) per MWh with minimum bid for solar power projects being 20 MW and 50 MW for wind projects.
As per the auction schedule, April 15, 2019 is when the electronic auction is supposed to take place.
