Astronergy facilities put into production: PV module manufacturer Astronergy said via WeChat that its 5 GW TOPCon module facility in Yancheng has produced its first module, which is a n-type TOPCon double glass module, with a power of 580 W. This module comes with high power, high efficiency, and high-power generation per W. Once the second phase of 5 GW TOPCon is put into production, the Yancheng facility will reach a module production capacity of 10 GW, thus bringing the company closer to its goal of achieving 34 GW n-type TOPCon in 2023. At the same time, Astronergy’s facility in Thailand also produced its first 210 module, signifying the start of production of its 1.5 GW cells and 1.5 GW modules. Currently, the Thailand facility is in Phase 2.5. Astronergy will be part of TaiyangNews Global PV System Technology Trends H1/2023 Virtual Conference that is scheduled to take place from 27 to 28 June 2023.
